Swimming
MARK currently resides in Auburn, AL and trains with Olympic Coach and Auburn University Head Coach Brett Hawke. Mark works hard to remain current on swimming philosophies and techniques and is always eager to learn more about the sport that he loves. Mark’s sights are currently set on the Short Course World Championships that will be held in December. Next summer Mark will also compete at the Long Course World Championships. Mark currently holds the fastest time in the country and 6th fastest time in the world in the 100m breaststroke.
Speaking

Coaching
MARK is passionate about coaching. Like his role model, John Wooden, MARK hopes to develop athletes as athletes, but, more importantly, MARK is committed to developing “champions” in every aspect of life. He currently works as a volunteer coach for the Auburn University Swimming and Diving team and as well as at various clinics and camps across the United States. Giving Back
MARK, with his wife, Ashley, feels strongly about giving back to the swimming community that has provided him with support and encouragement in addition to life lessons. MARK and Ashley developed Champion2Champion, a foundation that to the development of future champions. Through their goodwill, MARK and Ashley hope to inspire future champions to learn to swim, swim safely, and set goals for themselves both in and out of the water. MARK also volunteers his time with organizations such as Right To Play and the USA Swimming Foundation.
